Saratov Medical University successfully implements educational programs for specialized training of medical personnel for the healthcare of the region, region and country.
Razumovsky State Medical University is a leader among Russian medical universities, attracting thousands of talented and motivated young people every year who seek to connect their lives with medicine. The results of the admission campaign deserve special attention: the university has set an unprecedented record for the number of applications submitted for targeted admission. 800 applications were received for specialized educational programs, and the level of competition for individual areas was 10 applicants for a place. It is worth noting that the number of budget places allocated according to target quotas has almost doubled, reaching 800 positions. An additional incentive was the allocation of two hundred educational places at the expense of the regional budget specifically for participants in the project of the governor of the region Roman Busargin "Governor's recruitment".
The university has achieved outstanding results in educating the younger generation, receiving the title of the best medical university in the country in this field, taking 6th place among all universities in Russia, regardless of the profile.
Saratov Medical University, as the basic profile university of the region, has been approaching the personnel issue systematically and comprehensively for many years. The career guidance program "Medical Classes of SSMU" once again confirms its high effectiveness, demonstrating high graduation rates: 86% of yesterday's students who studied in specialized classes, opened thanks to the initiative of State Duma Deputy Nikolai Pankov and Saratov Region Governor Roman Busargin, successfully became students of the medical university. This indicator ranks second in Russia, second only to the Moscow Region. The project plays a key role in the professional self-determination of students who have decided to devote themselves to the noble cause of healing.
