2 September 2025
In 2024, the festival won the Open Voting competition for unique event formats dedicated to national holidays and other significant occasions in youth policy, organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
Rector Andrey Yeremin and Saratov Region Minister of Health Vladimir Dudakov addressed the new and senior students with congratulatory speeches. They warmly welcomed the freshmen, wishing them a successful start, good luck and inspiration in their studies and future careers.
Following the welcome speeches, an awards ceremony honored outstanding SSMU students whose achievements were appreeciated by university management. Activists received letters of appreciation for their collaborative contribution to summer off-site leadership school "Razumovsky Heritage." Some students were awarded special prizes and scholarships provided by the primary employee organization.
The “StudFest” program offered a variety of entertainment, including game and TV zones, a sport shooting facility, table football and hockey tournaments, DJ-led dance sessions, and a food area featuring tastings of traditional Russian and international cuisines.
Special attention was given to creative workshops where students made unique souvenirs using 3D printing, participated in flash mobs, and enjoyed theatrical performances.
This day was meant to remain a lasting memory for the first year students to celebrate the beginning of their academic and professional career.
